How to book a Uber in 10 Steps / How to Use Uber

1. Download Uber mobile app from www.uber.com/app
2. Register with Uber by following simple 7 steps
3. Login to Uber App
4. Go to Menu >> Promotions >> Enter the unique promo code " Your Exclusive Uber Promo Loading .... " and get 1 Free ride Upto 250 Rs
5. You should see "Promo Code Successfully Applied"
6. Place the green/blue pin on the map for pick up location or You can enter the name of your place where you need pickup and adjust the Pin to select exact location.
7. "Set Pickup Location" and then "Request Car" - Select which version of cars You want to book. Uber Go, Uber X , Uber Black or Uber SUV. ( Uber Go is Cheapest 7 Rs/KM, UberX is Sedans 9 Rs/KMs Uber Black SUV are Big cars like Innova, Mobile & other SUVs & they are costly 18Rs/Kms .
8. Wait for Some driver to accept your request. Uber will share the cab and driver details, ETA and a text message once the driver reaches your place.
9. You can keep tracking the cab on screen and help driver to reach your place faster.
10. Payments (service charge included) are automatic and hassle free as Uber deduct the same from "Free Rides" , if not available then from Uber Credit and in case of insufficient Uber credit, money is deducted from your Paytm Wallet used at the time of registration. So keep at least 200 Rs in your Payte wallet while booking a cab, or you may get error while booking .

Pro Tips / Uber Tricks

1. There is minimum Booking fee 35 Rs for UberGo,  40 Rs for UberX and 80 Rs for UberSUV/Black. + 1 Rs /Minute for UberGo & UberX and 2 Rs/Min for UberSUV/Black
2.  While Booking the cab you can use ""Trip Estimate" feature by selecting destination and find approx cost of the trip.
3. If you don't have enough paytm balance, you can always recharge it before next ride. but if your paytm balance is less than 20 Rs you cant book a ride.
4. Fare Estimate :Find out roughly what your trip will cost before you request. Just set your pickup location, enter a destination, and tap Fare Quote — the app will calculate an approximate amount based on the expected time and distance, so there are never any surprises on your receipt. 
5.  Split Fare :Forget freeloaders, IOUs, and separate cash transfers. Use the app to split the cost of your trip with other Uber riders. After your ride starts, choose Split Fare from the menu and add the other passengers — they’ll each pay a small transaction fee, but otherwise all credit cards will be charged equally.
6. Share ETA :Let friends and family follow your route and know when to expect you. Once the driver has picked you up, select Share ETA from the menu and we’ll create a text message with a link to your trip. Then just hit send.
