Uber policies allow only one unique account per user.
If you use multiple ( Even 2) accounts on the same device Uber automatically flags your account and disables / auto ban both. There is no communication sent to user. The time varies from few hours to few days but it would happen. This restriction is in force to apply fair usages policy and avoid gaming of the system. And then restoring your a/c is a tough process with less success rate but POSSIBLE if you follow the process mentioned below.

We have seen that many people opened new paytm A/C and with new phone numbers and created dummy accounts to get free rides for themselves ( 2 X 600 Rs ) per referral and this caused great inconvenience to regular Uber Riders. The Quality of Rides went down. The 'Uber' feeling was lost somehow.

- Its a Taxi Sharing App, not personal vehicle. So Never ask same driver to pick you daily. New algorithm ( started in june 2015 ) may warn driver once and ban rider's account without notice .
- If a Driver ask you for free ride after your drop, politely refuse. Many drivers does that for incentives. Don't encourage that practice.
- Behave well, thats the key and maintain a rating above 4.1 for sure. Average of last 50 rides are counted. If your rating goes down you may not get a cab when u really want.
- New users must each have their own valid PayTM account, smart phone, email, and phone number to be eligible for free rides. Signing up others with your own PayTM wallet and/or smartphone in order to earn free rides is a violation of our terms and will make your account ineligible for further promotions.
- Creating multiple accounts with your own personal email addresses is also a violation of our terms and will make your accounts ineligible for further promotions.
- If you create accounts for other people who do not have their own smart phone, PayTM wallet, phone number, or email address, your code will no longer work and your referees will pay for their rides in full.
- Uber reserves the right to suspend your account and/or revoke any referral bonus for free rides at any time we feel they were earned inappropriately.

UPDATE : Don't register more than one User/Account in One Device. Uber's updated application tracks the IMEI numbers + 5 Different checks on Mobiles to check Fraud . If it happens that More than one Account is been used in same Mobile ( even for Signup ) all accounts may get banned automatically when next fraud check runs.

A friend's account was banned(auto banned by system) and disabled. He asked for reason and here is the full message from Uber customer care.

Check if you can see PayTM Balance from Uber App . If You cant see balance then you must re authenticate PayTM or add another payment method to use use with Uber.

- You can Go to paytm and Unlink Uber from paytm >>>>https://paytm.com/settings >>>> Third party Authenticators >>> Remove Uber from Here... And then Signout from Uber and Re-SignIn...
- Change PayTM Password from web or PayTM App, then close & reopen Uber App, it should ask for reauthenticate.
